My client is a property development business based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. They are focused on the delivery of high quality homes in small to medium sized developments within their local area.
They have a good pipeline of current and future projects as such they require a Technical Coordinator to manage all technical aspects of our developments. They will be reporting to and guided by our Senior Development Manager.
Job Purpose
The Technical Coordinator has responsibility for the technical design and coordination of construction projects on behalf of the company in accordance with programme, budget and quality requirements. They are expected to take a proactive and comprehensive ownership of the technical processes for the projects, with a real attention to detail and passion for delivering great quality homes.
Responsibilities
- Working with and reporting to the Senior Development Manager for various projects.
- Securing quotations and appointing the design team consultants required for each project.
- Meeting with and briefing consultants on site, attending site to manage surveys etc.
- Managing the co-ordination of information required to discharge pre-commencement and pre-occupation planning conditions.
- Co-ordinating information required for S278/184 highways works.
