Job description: We are seeking a proactive, articulate, and ambitious PR professional to join our team as a Senior Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading client accounts, developing strategic campaigns, and managing teams to deliver outstanding results. In this role, you’ll take ownership of client relationships, oversee campaign planning and execution, and guide junior team members across a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C sectors, including lifestyle, FMCG, aviation, sports, investment, and tech. Working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you’ll be partnering with scale-ups and unicorn brands, so a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate complex communications challenges are essential. Key Skills: Ability to strategise and drive national coverage for client accounts. Experience in managing and liaising with C-Suite clients and account executives. Impeccable attention to detail with innovative and articulate writing skills. A passion for staying abreast of news trends and adapting client pitches accordingly. Proven ability to secure weekly trade and national coverage through confident client pitching. Key Responsibilities: Pitching fresh, relevant story angles daily to media contacts Selling in press releases and commentary to national and trade journalists Developing and presenting communication strategies and content plans Staying informed on trends in start-ups, scale-ups, and alternative finance Overseeing content creation from blogs and whitepapers to social media and one-pagers Drafting high-quality client IP, such as research reports and market insights Interpreting quantitative data to support strategic content development Pitching across both UK and US media markets; occasional travel required Leading day-to-day client account management and acting as the senior point of contact Managing and overseeing Account Executives and other junior team members across client work, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery Providing hands-on guidance, delegation, and quality control for all work produced by the account team Overseeing campaign delivery timelines and ensuring consistency and excellence across all client communications Additional Requirements: Candidates must be available to start within six weeks.
