We are supporting a business in Hertfordshire who are looking for an experienced IBA Technician to join their team.
To be considered for this role it is imperative that you have worked within an IBA team, and you are looking to take on a more senior level in supporting team members with training and development.
This position will support the manager of the team directly and include many responsibilities to ensure the team are performing at their best at all times.
Responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring and overseeing incoming payments and refunds, as well as setting up, cancelling and maintaining finance agreements
2. Reconciliations of cheques, card and BACS payments against the broking systems
3. Monitoring claims payments, defaults, cancellations etc
4. Overseeing credit control
5. Ensuring broking accounts is aligned with the month end process performed by management accountant
6. Regularly reviewing output of the IBA team (client side) and escalating issues to the IBA Lead
7. Support the IBA lead in in operational management of the IBA Team
8. Ensuing that all accounting processes follow best practice principles
9. Ensuing that daily, weekly and month-end finance reconciliations and routines are completed on time and in line with specified practices and procedures
