To apply for this position, you need to have experience working with Building Maintenance Units (BMU) and this role is more field-based covering the Southeast of England.
Working as a Service Engineer you will:
1. Provide technical specifications to procurement and supervision of suppliers.
2. Work from home when not on customer site; however, must be flexible to be called out to various locations.
3. PLC fault find on Building Maintenance Units.
4. Monitor and control the quality of work; and formalise project closures.
To be successful for this Service Engineer position, we're looking for:
1. Experience in a similar position, ideally field-based and working on customer sites.
2. Ideally PLC systems experience (modifying existing code or fault finding).
3. Ability to work with minimal supervision, whilst being an effective team player as part of a structured team.
4. Ideally experience working within Building Maintenance Units or from an offshore/forces background.
5. Must be accustomed to working at heights, general movement of tools and equipment, and providing a fast and efficient service.
6. Good communication skills and a professional manner.
7. Full UK driving licence.
Benefits:
Salary £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, pension with company contribution, and healthcare scheme.
Hours - 40 to 47.5 hours per week door to door - and uplifts when working on site (OTE earning 55k).
Overtime - 1.5 for weekdays and double time for working Saturday and Sunday.
Overtime can be claimed as soon as working over 9.5 hours in a day.
