We are looking to recruit a temporary maintenance assistant for a well-established In-House Estates division based in a University in the heart of Uxbridge. Within this Maintenance role you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks including fire door inspections and fire safety maintenance. This role would suit someone looking to start a temporary role where you will be paid weekly You should have maintenance experience already including experience of fire safety maintenance within buildings. As Fire Safety Maintenance Operative, you will be working as part of a team supporting qualified tradespersons in their duties. You will enjoy a varied range of daily tasks on the campus such as: Carrying out reactive and planned fire safety tasks Undertaking and documenting fire door and fire stopping inspections Undertaking and certifying repairs to fire doors Installation of and repairs to existing fire door stopping Undertaking checks, testing, and recording documentation on fire safety in line with the relevant legislation Assisting in minor installation work and maintaining general building services across all trades Working in accordance with health and safety legislations Using a CAFM system and PDA device Offering first class customer service at all times If you are looking for a busy, multi skilled role focusing on the crucial tasks around fire safety, this is the role for you We are looking for Fire Safety Maintenance Assistant with: Experience in Fire Door or Fire Stopping Inspection, Maintenance, or Installation A qualification in fire door inspection is desirable, though not essential Experience of working within the Maintenance, Property or Building sector Experience of a trade related to maintenance of Building fabric.
