We’re looking for a Planning & Reporting Manager (Financial Planning & Analysis function) to join our Insurance and Money Services team.
Insurance and Money Services is a newly formed business within Tesco Group, with a remit to provide Tesco customers with great products across everyday Finance needs such as Insurance and Travel money.
You’ll have exposure to senior management and Executive stakeholders in this role with a key focus on delivering IMS wide management reporting and forecasting used to support Executive and Group Leadership team discussions on the business performance and outlook.
A key outcome of this role is helping to shape and standardise the reporting outputs of the go forward business along with working with Tesco Group on forecasting timelines and requirements. This role will sit within the Planning & Reporting team which forms part of the Broader Commercial Finance team and Finance Function. Key stakeholders will include the Head of Commercial Finance & Chief Finance Officer along with the Product Finance teams.
This role will best suit someone with ambition to grow and deliver business outcomes. In doing this, the opportunity to move within the Finance function is something that would be encouraged to ensure Tesco IMS nurtures talent and provides ongoing career opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
1. Produce IMS wide month end reporting for Executive Committee.
2. Run the timeline and coordination of the Budgeting & Forecasting cycles within IMS.
3. Coordinate the IMS finance team input to rolling forecast and full year outlook performance.
4. Provide Adhoc analysis support across the Decision support teams
5. Maintain and renew a knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards.
6. Work with data and technical teams to align on any accounting standard impacts to reporting.
We need you to have
7. Professional accountancy qualification.
8. Financial planning and forecasting experience.
9. Financial reporting and/or management accounting experience.
10. Understanding of relevant external regulation Proficient user of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
And if you have any of these, even better
11. Experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
12. Expert Excel & PowerPoint skills.
13. Demonstrable experience of being able to quickly form networks and hit the ground running.

Following the announcement regarding Tesco's with Barclays, this role will support our Insurance and Money Services team and will remain with Tesco.
