NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Therapist (CBT) - Band 7
Full Time - 3 days Referral centre duty/2 days clinical therapy.
We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Hi CBT practitioners to provide clinical leadership at our referral centre. The practitioner should be skilled in providing effective, evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. We would welcome interest from therapists who can demonstrate previous experience of working within diverse populations in a primary and secondary care setting with an interest in process & data analysis to support the service in streamlining systems.

This person would be joining the Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Talking Therapies service. The service is delivered by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, in collaboration with Coventry and Warwickshire MIND, and offers a variety of support and psychological therapies to the Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull adult population. Our interventions are diverse and evidence based, ranging from guided self-help and face-to-face or video therapy, telephone support to workshops and courses. We have exciting opportunities within our expanding Perinatal and Long Term Conditions pathways and ongoing training and development opportunities as our service continues to grow.

About us
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.

The posts will be suitable for qualified NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Practitioners, or Qualified CBT Therapists. BABCP accreditation is essential.Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to work flexibly and without close direction are essential. In return, you will have the opportunity of being in the forefront of primary care mental health service delivery. Person Specification
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
1. Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course (Post Graduate Diploma in CBT) or equivalent
2. Equivalent: eg. a recorded / registered qualification in one of the following - mental health nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or a psychological therapy - plus further post graduate qualification training in CBT BABCP Accredited
3. significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

4. Full range of skills and competencies as laid out in the competence framework for CBT (Roth and Pilling 2007)
5. Computer literate
6. Has received training (either formal of through experience) and carried out risk assessments within scope of practice
