Fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join an award winning interdisciplinary multidisciplinary consultancy who is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in Liverpool due to project wins. Interested candidates will have the opportunity to work on large scale, challenging projects in a variety of sectors.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
1. Establish detailed Client's brief and responsibilities of consultants and specialists and maintain communication with the client and the design team.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc.
3. Co-ordinate and obtain planning consents and all necessary statutory approvals.
4. Manage finances from inception to completion, including cash flow forecasts, monitoring project expenditure, and recommendations of payments by client.
5. Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and appoint contractor.
6. Inspect and monitor the construction works with regard to quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings.
7. Chair progress, co-ordination and project meetings throughout the contract period.
8. Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality.
9. Provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the client.
Requirements of the Project Manager:
1. Project management experience gained within a construction consultancy.
2. Working towards or keen to embark upon professional chartership RICS, CIOB, RIBA, MICE.
3. Successfully led and delivered complex and challenging projects.
4. Client management experience.
5. Experience of preparing winning tender submissions.
On offer for the Project Manager:
This position offers a salary of between £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, project exposure and an opportunity to carve out a career with a worldwide brand name.
