Our client, a global PR agency is looking for an Account Director (or experienced Senior Account Manager).
This a growth hire and the new Account Director will be well rewarded, have access to a wealth of resources and training, work on a high-profile pharmaceutical portfolio of clients and be part of work that wins awards.
The healthcare practice of this global PR agency has a varied client list including big pharma, biotech, medtech, charities and patient organisations, to whom they provide top class, effective healthcare communications programmes and innovation.
They are hybrid with 1 day required in their London office (of course you can work more there if you want to!). There is a real sense this agency values and trusts its staff for example the team are able to work up to 1 month per year abroad.
The Account Director’s Responsibilities:
* You will develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies for healthcare clients across varied therapeutic areas and accounts including obesity, rare diseases and sleep disorders.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
* Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Oversee the creation of engaging content, including press releases, articles, and social media materials.
* Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within scope.
Requirements:
* You will have significant experience in a healthcare PR or communications agency (up to at least SAM level or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of healthcare communications and regulatory environments.
* Ability to inspire trust and foster close strategic relationships with clients and internally across the agency.
