68286 | Sales & Distribution | Professional | Non-Executive | Allianz UK | Full-Time | Permanent Role Description Salary circa £42k – Guildford OR London (hybrid – minimum 3 days a week in office) The purpose of this role is to play a pivotal role within the Strategic Distribution Management function which includes Strategic Account Management, Distribution Governance and Insight and Analysis. The primary focus is ensuring the business continually develops its ability to monitor, analyse and interpret the performance of the company distribution teams and their broker partners, an important part in supporting the delivery of the UK objectives. Delivers distribution insight to the Broker Markets team. This should focus on broker behaviour and agent performance, delivered using the individual’s knowledge and understanding of the distribution framework along with interpretation of the broad range of data available. Ensures timely production of reports containing insight and analysis for the different executive meetings throughout the calendar year. Produces and distributes monthly broker MI to both internal and external customers, including analysis and investigation into anomalies in Broker Markets performance. This should also include the constant evolution of broker reporting to provide the highest level of insight and analysis to the business. Maintains the accuracy of all broker markets remuneration deals (including broker deal logs and contract templates), and correctly accrues each payment throughout the term of the arrangement. Once fulfilled, ensures payments are calculated and settled using the correct parameters within the timescales stipulated. Regularly looks to refresh the broker remuneration offering to maintain the Company’s competitiveness across in the market place. Becomes an expert in industry and sector developments, which will impact the UK insurance distribution practices. Uses this knowledge to provide recommendations to improve the Company’s distribution capabilities and their application across the distribution framework. Ensures the SDM Governance process, the Company’s Code of Conduct and regulatory compliance guidance are adhered to at all times. About You Technical skills Excellent understanding and use of all Microsoft applications (specifically Excel). Understanding of the customer and broker propositions offered by the Allianz Group. Strong familiarity with the Distribution Framework. A good awareness of the UK commercial insurance market. A high awareness of business regulatory requirements. Qualifications ACII qualified or making progress towards achieving this. Educated to A-level/ degree level or equivalent experience. Experience Experience in interpreting data to deliver meaningful insight and analysis. Understanding of the UK insurance sector and the distribution practices. Experience of managing communication across all stakeholder groups and a wide audience of internal and external audiences.
