Job – Fabricator
ESS Employment Ltd are seeking a highly skilled Fabricator. We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with experience of cutting, bending, punch press, assembling, welding and able to understand and follow drawings.
Our client is family-owned independent business, they are recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker/ Fabricator to join their busy and growing business.
Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator Roles And Responsibilities
• Fabricate, assemble and sheet metal components
• Work from engineering drawings to complete customer builds, working with dimensional tools such as rules, calculators, set squares etc.
• Set and operate hydraulic press brake
• Fasten and join seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, inserts etc.
• Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled
• Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects
The Ideal Sheet Metal Worker/ Fabricator Will
• Have proven experience in the assembly of sheet metal components and fabrications
• Be able to read and work from customer drawings
• Have experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Be able to lift heavy materials and tools
• A good level of literacy and numeracy
Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 16:30 (40 Hours
TIG welding experience would also be an advantage.
This is a permanent role with immediate start available for the successful candidate.
