Brinsbury College, part of the Chichester College Group Ref: BRN6005 Lecturer in Forestry & Arboriculture 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £26,716 - £41,659 per annum We are recruiting for a Lecturer with a Forestry and/or Arboriculture background who is passionate about delivering effective teaching, learning and assessment. You will hold a recognised Forestry or Arboriculture qualification at level 3 or above and preferably have experience teaching within the Further Education sector. You will have competency NPTC certificates, including chainsaw maintenance, cross cutting, felling of small trees, tree climbing and aerial rescue. An Arboriculture/Forestry first aid certificate would also be preferred. As part of the duties you will need to deliver both theory and practical sessions, covering climbing techniques and chainsaw maintenance and operations to a diverse group of students. You will need to have a sound knowledge of relevant industry legislation and codes of practice and have proven industry experience.
