SEO Manager (Technical) Stockport Up to £60,000 We are working with a business that classes themselves as a health and wellness company, who are looking to add a commercially driven SEO manager to their growing team, who has a focus on the technical side. The SEO Manager will be tasked with refining, implementing, and overseeing the comprehensive SEO strategy for their ecommerce websites. This role involves managing the content team on a daily basis, ensuring their efforts align with the broader marketing objectives, and driving organic traffic to boost sales and revenue. The role: • Take charge of the current SEO strategy, enhancing and optimising it using data-driven insights and industry trends. • Perform comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms and phrases that align with our products and target audience. • Work closely with the web development team to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including site speed, crawlability, and mobile responsiveness. • Track and analyse website traffic, search rankings, conversion rates, and other key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of SEO efforts and pinpoint areas for improvement. • Create and implement a link-building strategy to secure high-quality backlinks from reputable websites. The person: • 5 years’ experience, with a focus on the technical side of SEO. • Proven track record in managing SEO campaigns for ecommerce websites, with demonstrated success in driving organic traffic, improving search rankings, and increasing sales and revenue. • In-depth knowledge of SEO strategies and tactics effective for ecommerce websites, including product page optimization and category page optimisation. • Expertise in using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) to monitor and analyse website traffic, search rankings, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
