Business Development Manager required for an electrical wholesaler in the East Staffordshire area.
This busy branch is recruiting for someone with an electrical wholesale background to join their team.
This role would be an ideal opportunity for a confident Internal Sales person within the electrical wholesale industry looking to take the next step in their career to an External Sales role or an experienced External Sales person wanting to join a fast-growing company.
The Role:
1. Contribute to the success of the branch and promote the company’s name by providing excellent levels of customer service.
2. Maximise sales by providing high levels of customer service in all areas including answering phones promptly, handling queries and orders efficiently and accurately.
3. Increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new business.
4. Call on regular spending accounts, re-contact and activate dormant accounts, and cold call potential new customers.
5. Conduct client visits to potentially new and existing businesses.
6. Build strong relationships with customers.
7. Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
8. Provide excellent customer service at all times.
The Person:
1. Enthusiastic, good communicator, honest with good common sense.
2. Electrical wholesale experience essential.
