Overhead Crane Technician - Requirements\n \nMust have experience in electrical, mechanical or electromechanical engineering. \nHeavy industrial Plant mechanic experience is preferred \nFull UK driving licence \nGood interpersonal skills for customer relations. \nThe ability to work at heights responsibly \nPreferably electrical experience of 3 phase 415vac motors, squirrel cage and wound rotor, contactor control circuits, 110/48-volt relay and contactor circuits, stop and reset circuits and some frequency speed/inverter control device experience.
\nMechanical experience of medium to large drive couplings, brakes and reduction gearboxes. \nExcellent fault finding and diagnostic skills \nExperience with overhead crane maintenance and inspection routines preferred. \nExperience with industrial radio control systems.
\nKnowledge / Experience of vacuum lifting equipment, manipulators, electromagnets or other material handling equipment. \nPositive attitude towards health and safety. \nSelf-motivated with the ability to adapt to overcome technical challenges.
