SALARY: £33,366 - £35,235 per annum + Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Commissioning with experience of gathering, interpreting and sharing information, the ability to manage multiple and diverse projects and excellent analytical and research skills.
Working as the Commissioning Officer you will join the organisations corporate Commissioning Team to develop services across the business .You will lead and support the commissioning of a wide variety of services helping to make the best of use of money and ensuring services have a positive impact on peoples lives.
As the Commissioning Officer you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation delivers the best possible service within its available resources to support its ambitions .
DUTIES
Your duties as a Commissioning Officer will include:
Supporting operational colleagues to identify and understand needs within their service areas and design delivery models that achieve the right outcomes
Researching and providing options for service delivery, looking at best practice elsewhere and developing organisation-specific solutions
Running basic procurement processes and working closely with the external procurement team to assist with tenders
Supporting colleagues to implement new contracts and set up contract monitoring arrangements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Be educated to A-level or equivalent
Have experience of gathering, interpreting and sharing information to find solutions
Experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships and communicating with individuals and organisations from a variety of backgrounds to achieve a common goal
Be able to manage multiple and diverse projects
Good analytical and research skills
Flexible and motivated
Excellent communication skills
Good attention to detail
