Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £44,965 - £51,314 per annum (dependent upon experience) with the potential to progress. The Role As Senior Teaching Fellow in Prescribing, E-Portfolio and Advanced Practice you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs, ensuring students have an effective learning experience. Based within the School of Health & Care you will work with and lead academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience, ensuring relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses. Duties include: Lead the curation, adaptation, design and development of module and course teaching materials including Curriculum development. Teaching at HE levels 6 and 7, delivering a variety of student learning sessions and supporting students through informal and formal communication. Leading teams of academic staff. Leading the long-term conditions module. Qualifications Required Master’s degree in appropriate subject OR (if from a professional practice background) a good Honors Degree and appropriate professional qualification and/or membership Teaching qualification or extensive experience of delivering professional and/or university education PhD or active membership of appropriate professional body advantageous Our Successful Candidate You will have demonstrable experience of successful teaching at higher education levels 4-7 with the development and demonstration of best practice in teaching, learning and assessment consistent with our reputation and track record as a high-quality provider of teaching and learning. Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will have experience in the development and enhancement of an ‘active learning’ pedagogy as appropriate to the academic subject area.
