The Company: Our client is a multi-channel, fast paced, dynamic business. They are looking to recruit an experienced Amazon Executive to join their team on a fixed term contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, with a proven track record of managing the platform end-to-end, including trading, content management, promotional execution, and operational troubleshooting, working alongside the Online sales Director to maximise the potential of the Amazon The Role: Product Launches: Lead the launch of new products across the Amazon platforms, ensuring all listings are accurate, compliant, and optimised for discoverability, with compelling content and imagery. Content & Brand Store Updates: Continuously improve existing product listings and manage updates to Amazon brand stores to reflect current campaigns and brand messaging. Chargeback Management: Own the chargeback process from start to finish. Liaise with internal departments and Amazon to reduce and prevent avoidable penalties. Amazon Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for Amazon-related queries, from pricing discrepancies to suppressed listings and catalogue errors. Reporting & Insights: Maintain and distribute weekly and monthly performance reports. Track key metrics to identify trends and issues. Sales vs Run Rate Monitoring: Create weekly action plans to align stock availability with demand. Work closely with the supply chain team to address availability challenges. Returns Analysis: Investigate return rates and work with cross-functional teams to understand root causes and implement reduction strategies. Promotional Planning: Develop and manage promotional calendars with a strong focus on maintaining availability and optimising margin through strategic SOA usage. Skills Required: Minimum 12-18 mnths experience in managing and trading on Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central. Strong understanding of the Amazon ecosystem end-to-end, from content optimisation and advertising to fulfilment and compliance. Experience with chargeback resolution and liaising with Amazon support teams. Proficient in Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic reporting). Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data and make actionable recommendations. Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, particularly supply chain and operations. Highly organised and detail oriented. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong communicator with the ability to influence and problem-solve. Flexible and adaptable - able to respond to the fast-changing Amazon landscape.
