The Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Ecommerce Executive to join our passionate Ecommerce Department. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Trading team to ensure that we continue to optimise the customer journey across the Boohoo group of websites, delivering the highest standards of service to our customers. Your role will involve everything from maintaining the website to assisting in large business projects that will drive the growth of the business.
As part of the wider Ecommerce team, including Visual Merchandisers and Analysts, you’ll be essential in supporting daily on-site activities while helping to develop key strategies that ensure the growth and success of Boohoo globally. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, where no two days are the same!
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily/Weekly Site Activity: Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality site updates, promotions, and marketing campaigns, maintaining our brand’s reputation for excellence.
* Project Support: Assist the Ecommerce Managers in large-scale business projects aimed at driving growth and enhancing the customer experience.
* Competitor & Industry Research: Stay ahead of trends by conducting competitor research, reviewing industry best practices, and using internal data to innovate and optimise the customer experience.
* Communication & Coordination: Develop clear and concise briefs across multiple time zones and currencies for IT, ensuring changes are implemented accurately and efficiently.
* Promotions & Discounts: Create, test, and manage various promotional codes while keeping the site’s promotions up to date.
* Website Maintenance: Conduct regular site audits to ensure a smooth, user-friendly experience and that all content is relevant and accurate.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with multiple departments and 3rd parties, fostering effective relationships to ensure timely and accurate site changes.
* Reporting: Report on trading performance, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Key Requirements:
* Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
* A keen eye for detail and an understanding of user experience principles.
* A passion for ecommerce, with an understanding of key industry trends, seasonal events, and customer behavior.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficiency with ecommerce platforms and basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
* Previous experience in an ecommerce or digital role is desirable, but not essential.
