This new role will be key in driving the top of funnel leads for ArcticZymes, working closely with the product marketing functions and product management team to generate demand in our core markets.
As a digital native, you will execute and refine our digital strategy, using SEM, Social media advertising, display, email and more. Alongside this lead generation focus, you will have the opportunity to develop product marketing skills, supporting and eventually owning elements of the marketing planning and execution process.
As a life science graduate, you will understand our customers basic needs and will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of marketing skills in a small and dynamic marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Lead Generation & SEM (Primary Focus)
* Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic and generate high-quality leads.
* Advise, execute and report on social media advertising campaigns, with a focus.
* Manage keyword research, bid strategies, A/B testing, and audience targeting for paid search campaigns.
* Continuously analyse and refine web pages, landing pages, conversion funnels, and ad performance to improve ROI.
* Collaborate with the sales team to track and measure lead quality and adjust campaigns accordingly.
* Leverage CRM and email marketing tools to track, nurture, and score leads.
* Work with web development and design teams to implement necessary tracking, UTM parameters, and landing page improvements.
* Support with the selection and implementation of a new CRM platform and associated tech stack as required.
Product Marketing Support (Secondary Focus)
* Support go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, ensuring digital lead generation aligns with broader marketing goals.
* Own elements of the marketing planning process for specific product groups.
* Assist in conducting competitive analysis and market research to refine messaging and positioning.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure digital campaigns reflect key product value propositions.
* Help implement product marketing strategies across digital channels to drive engagement and conversions.
Reporting & Optimization
* Analyse campaign data and generate reports on lead acquisition performance, campaign ROI, and conversion rates.
* Identify opportunities for improvement through data-driven insights and continuous testing.
* Stay up to date with SEM trends, industry best practices, and platform updates to maximize effectiveness.
Who you are
* Self-starter, able to manage your own projects and timelines, working remotely, interacting with other remote colleagues and head office.
* Happy to take ownership of tasks, delivering in a timely manner, communicating with key stakeholders.
* Eager to learn and build new skills in both marketing and wider in the organisation.
* As a digital native, you will be familiar with the wide range of digital channels and tools.
* You will be comfortable using data to drive decision making.
* Lifesciences undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
* A minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent discipline.
* Experience with digital marketing including email marketing and automations.
* Familiarity with SEM platforms and the various advertising products available.
* Social media marketing experience would be considered advantageous.
* Experience working with and in CRM systems would be considered advantageous.
* A great communicator, skilled in English, both verbal and written.
* Able to travel if required in the UK and in Europe.
* Eligible to work and live in the UK.
