Internal sales engineer

JOB- Internal Sales Engineer
LOCATION- West Yorkshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience

My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on an Internal Sales Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Yorkshire area.

The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to work well over the phone
Be able to work well individually as well as a team
Previous experience working in a similar technical engineering, technical sales or manufacturing environment would be ideal
Engineering knowledge such as technical sales, torques, gears, power, machines etc.
Be proficient with using MS Office applications
CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage
Training will give on both the product and sales side of things
A Full UK Driving Licence would be beneficial but not essential

The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve:

Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager
Working with customers providing technical advice and customer service
Ensuring sales requirements match customers needs
Preparing quotations as required
