You have acquired a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience and are registered with Social Care Wales. You are passionate about supporting children and families deemed to have unmet needs or at risk of harm. You possess strong interpersonal skills and are a team player, capable of building effective relationships with colleagues and other agencies. What the Job Involves As a social worker with our Children, Families, and Safeguarding Service, you will provide a direct and high-quality social work service to children and families. Responsibilities include assessing and identifying needs, working collaboratively with various agencies, building partnerships with families, safeguarding, and risk assessment, preparing reports, contributing to strategic meetings, maintaining case records, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will also manage a caseload of varying complexity, actively participate in professional development, support feedback processes, and contribute positively to service improvement and innovation.
