We're Looking for Someone Who:
* In-depth knowledge of the 12-Step Programme.
* Minimum two years of experience in direct client work, including assessments and group facilitation.
* Proven experience delivering client-focused services, particularly in addiction and substance misuse.
* Strong background in working collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
* Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including managing high-risk client situations.
* Minimum Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Counselling or an equivalent field.
* Accreditation with a recognised professional body.
* Leadership and coaching abilities, with experience in developing and delivering therapeutic support programmes.
* Strong planning and administrative skills, with the ability to adapt and evolve treatment programmes to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct weekly audits on the client management system.
* Oversee client care, community dynamics, and therapeutic programme operations.
* Address and resolve client complaints and individual concerns.
* Support the Manager in upholding the treatment contract and maintaining daily compliance standards.
* Lead and deliver therapeutic interventions, including group sessions and one-to-one support.
* Facilitate fellowship meetings, aftercare, and family groups.
* Collaborate with probation and health workers on client reviews and assessments.
* Assess and manage client risks, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
* Maintain accurate records, including care plans, attendance, and progress notes.
* Engage families in the therapeutic process to support holistic recovery.
* Model appropriate behaviour, setting standards for the team and community.
* Promote dynamic, person-centered care aligned with the 12-Step Programme whilst linking with risk assessments and Dr assessments.
* Prepare weekly reports for relevant third parties and update schedules as needed.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to empowering clients to achieve lasting recovery.
