Position: Property Manager
Location: Eastbourne and surrounding areas
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in property management, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to supporting tenants, including those in vulnerable situations. A clean UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be responsible for managing properties across Eastbourne and nearby areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with occupancy rules.
Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, including overseeing evictions when necessary.
Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with the maintenance team to ensure timely issue resolution.
Conduct weekly property inspections, prepare reports, and maintain detailed property records.
Respond to tenant complaints, queries, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Address safeguarding referrals and provide support for vulnerable tenants.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all properties, including details related to temporary accommodations for homeless households.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar property management role.
Strong phone etiquette and exceptional communication skills.
Proficiency in property management software for data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle tenant issues with professionalism.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
