We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Administrator to join their friendly and dynamic Accounts team at their Tamworth office. Our client is a forward-thinking company known for exceptional customer service, professional delivery, and embracing modern technologies.
This is an office-based position, working 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
As the Accounts Administrator, your key responsibilities include:
Process supplier invoices
Process sales invoices
Support in recording financial transactions in our accounting system, Xero and job management software, SIMPRO
Assist in maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts
Handle general accounting administration
Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
Filing, Scanning and Maintaining spreadsheets for invoices and approvals
Managing Account Inbox
As the Accounts Administrator, you will have:
A minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience working within Accounts/Finance
Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & Excel
Knowledge of Xero and Simpro, however, this is not essential
Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
Knowledge of CIS would be beneficial but not essential
You may have experience working within any of the following: Accounts Administrator, Accounts Clerk, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk, Accounts Admin or any other similar position As the Accounts Administrator, your salary will be between £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
