Job Overview:
The Business Development Executive (Lead Generator) will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the commercial fit-out sector. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base and increasing revenue. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to prospecting, and a passion for building relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation: Proactively identify potential clients and generate new leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
2. Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, competitor offerings, and potential client needs to effectively position our services.
3. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and industry stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their fit-out requirements.
4. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals, presentations, and follow-up communications to convert leads into clients.
5. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead generation activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
6. Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company and generate new business opportunities.
7. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and market insights to management.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and project management teams to align lead generation efforts with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably within the construction or fit-out industry.
3. Strong understanding of the commercial fit-out market and client needs.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to succeed.
