Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (x3)

Our client, a dedicated SEN school in Dorset, is looking for three enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs, providing them with the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive in their learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Support students with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students engage with their learning.
* Use positive behaviour strategies to support emotional and social development.
* Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Support students with personal care needs where necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEN students in a school or care setting is desirable.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
* Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are advantageous but not essential.
