Product Support Engineer MMS (Managed Mobile Service) Hybrid – attached to our Solihull or Hook office 2/3 days per week Full Time, Permanent Salary – up to £43,000 dependent on experience. If you are passionate about working with cutting-edge technologies like Microsoft Intune, Samsung Knox, Apple device management, and ChromeOS management, we want to hear from you In this role, you will focus on providing 3rd-line technical support, troubleshooting, and optimising mobile and tablet infrastructure components. This includes managing mobile devices using Microsoft Intune for MDM/MAM, administering Samsung Knox, supporting Apple device management, and overseeing ChromeOS management. You will play a key role in improving device management processes and ensuring the security and performance of mobile platforms across the organisation. As part of this you’ll: Provide 3rd-line technical support for mobile and tablet devices, resolving complex issues for both local and remote staff. Offer specialised support to VIP users, ensuring high availability and exceptional service quality. Manage and troubleshoot mobile devices using Microsoft Intune for MDM and MAM. Administer and optimise Samsung Knox and Apple device management solutions via Intune. Oversee and manage ChromeOS devices through Google platforms. Support and evaluate third-party MDM and MAM solutions. Lead and contribute to IT projects focused on improving mobile and tablet device management. Work with technology teams to identify and resolve recurring issues affecting mobile platforms. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement deployment processes for hardware and software. Influence technology strategies and IT policies, focusing on a data-driven and user-focused approach. Stay updated on advancements in MDM, MAM, and device management technologies, recommending best practices and solutions. What you’ll need to do the role: Certification in MDM or relevant Intune training. Familiarity with Google Admin for ChromeOS management. Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Samsung Knox, and Apple device management. Experience in scripting or automation to enhance device deployment and support processes. Knowledge of security best practices for mobile device management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability in changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to deliver high-quality user experiences and exceed customer expectations. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (desirable). 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a related role. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102). Samsung Knox Professional or Advanced Certification. ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred). CompTIA Mobility/Security (Beneficial).
