About The Role
PHL UK LTD is seeking a proactive and organized Parts Advisor to join our team. This key role involves supporting the parts department, assisting with customer inquiries, managing orders, and maintaining smooth operations across the business. You will collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure efficient service and timely responses.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the Parts Manager with daily operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the parts department.
2. Communicate effectively with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery times for parts.
3. Respond to customer and supplier queries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service.
4. Manage incoming orders and process returns efficiently.
5. Coordinate with the service and workshop departments to ensure timely parts delivery.
6. Support other team members as needed to promote team success.
7. Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks promptly.
Meeting Summary & Development
1. Maintain regular communication with colleagues to ensure smooth department operations and foster positive relationships.
2. Participate in monthly meetings with the Parts Manager to review pricing, sales, and business opportunities.
3. Track time, including breaks, and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
4. Engage in training courses (e.g., TVH) to develop product knowledge and skills.
