This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient procurement processes while supporting our team’s overall strategy and objectives.
Role Purpose:
As a Purchasing Administrator, you’ll be responsible for processing purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, and supporting procurement activities. You’ll help ensure that goods and services are sourced on time and within budget, contributing to the overall performance and success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchase Order Processing: Handle and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
* Delivery Management: Follow up on outstanding deliveries and expedite as needed.
* RFQ Management: Participate in and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
* Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities where possible.
* Supplier Management: Assist in developing and maintaining preferred supplier lists aligned with commercial objectives.
* Supplier Onboarding: Support the identification and onboarding of new suppliers.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and other procurement-related data.
* Policy Development: Assist in creating and managing procurement policies and procedures.
* Issue Resolution: Resolve order and invoice issues, as well as manage supplier complaints.
* Reporting: Prepare various procurement-related reports as required.
* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the purchasing team.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: At least 3 years of purchasing administration experience, ideally within multinational, corporate environments or industries like aerospace, pharmaceuticals, electronics, engineering, or construction.
* Proven Track Record: Strong experience in maintaining accurate records, stakeholder engagement, and data management.
* Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
o Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
o A proactive, problem-solving attitude.
* Qualifications: 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including Maths and English.
