As a Band 6 Podiatrist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality podiatric care to individuals within the community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Conducting thorough clinical assessments of patients' conditions, including biomechanical, dermatological, and vascular assessments.
2. Formulating accurate diagnoses based on assessment findings.
3. Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients, incorporating a range of podiatric interventions.
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records in compliance with relevant standards and policies.
5. Ensuring thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient communications.
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, orthopaedic specialists, and diabetes care teams, to ensure integrated and patient-centred care.
7. Staying informed about the latest developments in podiatry, attending relevant training and workshops, and engaging in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Podiatry.
2. Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
3. Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in podiatry.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
6. Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development.
