We are recruiting for a Dealer Principal / Branch Manager for our Flagship dealership in Manchester on a full time permanent basis.
Do you have experience within the automotive industry and a proven track record of running a busy HGV workshop & aftersales business?
Do you have experience managing teams of technicians or vehicle mechanics alongside all support roles?
In this role, you will strategically manage and develop all aspects of an MAN Branch Aftersales Business, focusing on delivering excellent customer service, parts sales and margin, workshop productivity and efficiency, to ensure profitability. Ensuring a balanced and consistent approach to steering & coaching within the areas of responsibility is a key focus.
In order to perform this role effectively, you must:
* Develop & maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders while ensuring high levels of customer service awareness are delivered.
* Promote learning for others, share ideas and information, and take pride in the achievements of team objectives, recognizing staff appropriately.
* Deliver and maintain the high standards that a flagship dealer should expect.
Experience:
* Ideally, you will have an automotive background with a minimum of 5 years customer service experience in retail sales & service at a senior level and ideally have previous success with team management or supervision of at least 40 staff across several disciplines.
* Having a detailed knowledge and understanding of the truck industry in terms of service, parts, and parts sales will be an advantage, as well as an overall understanding of balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, and standard business metrics.
