Healthcare Assistant - Outpatients
Band 3
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3, part time Healthcare Assistant in our multi speciality outpatient department to join our friendly team in Medical Outpatients at the RDH site.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be flexible and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team involving a large number of specialities.
Previous outpatient experience would be desirable though not essential as we have a full induction programme.
The successful candidate will be required to show high levels of concentration and organisational skills along with excellent communication skills to ensure smooth and efficient running of clinics.
Applicant must be flexible throughout the working week and be available one weekend a month.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Evidence of either GCSE A-D or Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or relevant experience acquired through undertaking of clinical skills
* Care Certificate standard training
Experience
* A minimum of 6 months recent paid experience working in a care environment within the UK
* Understands the role of a Healthcare Support Worker and can evidence this in the application form
* Evidence of previous experience of working in an acute setting
