We are open to both part-time and full-time consultants to work collaboratively with 30 like-minded Anaesthetists across the 9 Hospitals within the group.

In this key role, you'll be anaesthetising patients for all kinds of procedures from ophthalmology to orthopaedics, and from gynaecology to general surgery. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you'll also have the chance to get involved in the administrative and managerial aspects of the department, and in the development of less experienced colleagues.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* UK registered Medical Degree.
* Past record of FRCA academic achievement or equivalent
* Full and Specialist GMC Registration in relevant speciality.
* Teaching qualification
* Experience in training medical trainees and other professionals
Experience
* Wide training and experience in anaesthesia.
* Able to offer expert clinical opinion on range of problems in anaesthesia.
* Able to take full and independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision.
* Training in management
* Experience of working in a surgical centre
* Understanding of audit and Clinical Governance
* Evidence of clinical outcomes
