The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced In-House Recruiter to join Addison as part of an existing recruitment team. Location is flexible and can be in either of our offices, Middlesbrough, Daresbury or Thornton-Cleveleys. Working with minimal supervision, you will recruit for a variety of roles to ensure our successful growth journey continues.
This is an end-to-end in-house recruitment role – taking the role from inception through advertising, CV searching, pre-screening, interviews, offer, contract documentation, and onboarding. This role not only offers variety but the opportunity to be involved in projects and shaping the future recruitment strategies for the group.
The recruiter will maintain our presence on social media and be responsible for keeping the careers pages of our website up to date and relevant. The Recruiter will be instrumental in planning and attending careers events, graduate recruitment fairs, assessment centres, and industry-related events.
Supporting the management team in all of our offices – Middlesbrough, Daresbury and Thornton-Cleveleys means some travel will be involved in the role.
About You:
As an experienced Recruiter or Resourcer, you will have demonstrable experience of the following:
* Recruitment within the Process sector or engineering or construction, this can either be in-house or with an agency.
* An understanding of the process sector and associated skills and job descriptions is a necessity.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Working on your own initiative and both confident and proactive.
* Confidentiality is key to this role; you will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.
* A self-starter who can work on their own initiative; you won’t be micromanaged, that is a given here at Addison.
* Able to critically evaluate processes and suggest ideas for improvement.
* Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage your own workload and deadlines.
