Job summary This Vacancy is for a Healthcare worker to Join us at the New Clinical Diagnostic Centre Based in Skegness The HCSW Support Assistant will be expected to assist clinical personnel in the care of patients to include treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education. The post will also include some administrative duties. The Healthcare Support Assistant will act as a focal point of communication between patients, and other clinical and non-clinical members of the centre. Working under the direct supervision of the Clinical Lead and strictly in accordance to guidelines and protocols, the HCSW Support Assistant will assist the diagnostic team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care. The community diagnostic centres has a commitment to excellent patient care, quality improvement and teaching. It is expected that all members of our clinical team are actively committed to supporting these aims and participate in relevant activities when appropriate. Hours of work will Monday to Friday at 7.5 hours a day to start to then increase to 7 working days. Main duties of the job To participate in Teams Meetings for the services and follow up Attend internal and external training courses to obtain the knowledge and skills required for this post To carry out such other duties which are within the scope of this post, as directed by the System & Operations Compliance Manager Carry out blood test ensuring the clinical request is met To monitor Blood pressure and seek advise when out of range Carry out 24 hour blood pressure monitoring Carry out standard 12 lead ECGs Carry out 24 hour ECG Chaperoning in Clinics About us Our Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) provide a broad range of elective diagnostic services, away from main acute hospitals, providing easier and quicker access to tests and greater convenience to patients.
