Job Description We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team at our RCVS-accredited small animal practice About Us: Located in a charming part of Hertfordshire, our practice has a rich history, having previously been a butcher's, a police station, and offices. Now, it’s a modern, proactive veterinary practice that has proudly served our loyal client base since 1999. In addition to our RCVS accreditation, we have earned IFSM’s Silver Cat Friendly Status. Our team consists of five experienced vets (4 FTE) and a talented, supportive nursing team who are encouraged to utilise their skills fully. We’re equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, capnography, and tonovet, ensuring we can offer top-notch care to our patients. About the Role: We are looking for a confident vet who enjoys a mix of consulting and surgery within our varied first-opinion caseload. Routine procedures and consultations are at the heart of the role, with 15-minute appointment slots (30 minutes for more complex cases), and time allocated for admin to help you stay on top of everything. We also provide several 30-minute emergency slots throughout the day to handle urgent cases.
