Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy navigating through employment law and terms and conditions to implement pragmatic solutions? Can you implement service improvements? If so, we would be keen to hear from you!
This is an exciting opportunity to join our small, specialist terms and conditions team, working on a wide range of projects and reward strategies. This is a temporary role covering maternity leave, for 9 months, with potential to extend, and we would be happy to consider a secondment. The role has flexibility to be undertaken remotely, with occasional on-site working.
Main duties of the job
You will support the wider HR team navigate through more complex terms and conditions queries where there is often no clear guidance, ensuring consistency in application.
As a specialist in the Agenda for Change Job Evaluation process, you will support more complex cases and work in partnership with trade union colleagues to complete the consistency stage of the process. We are actively working to improve the efficiency of the job evaluation process and you will be instrumental in driving these changes forward.
You will lead specific policy and procedure development work, implementing changes in terms and conditions into standard processes for the Trust.
As the National Clinical Excellence Awards round is due to launch in the New Year, you will be the lead for the communication and implementation of this across the Trust, working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, with support from others in the team.
We have published our data for the Gender Pay Gap and BME Pay Gap for 2025, we are now working to deliver the action plans to drive improvements and you will be instrumental in ensuring the actions are implemented.
This is a really varied, busy role, working across the full remit of reward and terms & conditions of employment, with plenty of opportunity to undertake specific project work. You will be part of a team of 3, with regular and ongoing support from colleagues in the immediate team, as well as frequent interactions with the wider HR function.
