A global biopharmaceutical leader is looking for a high calibre scientist to join their Translational Sciences group on a 12-month contract in Slough. This department provides bioanalytical and biomarker assay support for clinical & non-clinical phases of drug development. There may be the possibility to work one day from home.
Your new role
1. Involved in developing, optimising and validating ligand binding assays / immunoassays
2. Support progression of various stages of discovery and drug development
3. Present your data at multidisciplinary project team meetings
4. Understanding the underlying biological & therapeutic approaches to the programmes you are supporting
5. Maintain laboratory equipment to high standards, remainingpliant with all applicable regulations
What you'll need to succeed
6., or PhD in a Biological discipline
7. Biomarker assay development experience
8. 3+ years of working in a laboratory environment
9. Hands-on experience of running ligand binding assays / immunoassays (such as Singulex, ELLA, MSD, ELISA, Gyros, Simoa/Quanterix)
10. Examples of using transfer methods ( external providers, collaborators)
