3 Month Initial Fixed Term Contract
Recruiting for a reputable manufacturing business, we are sourcing for a Logistics Administrator to join their Northallerton based operation.
Reporting into the Head of Logistics, the Logistics Administrator will audit all stock and inventory movements in and out of multiple production facilities. The administration team works in partnership with a team of Logistics Coordinators to supervise the logistics operations on behalf of a multi-site, multi-functional FMCG manufacturing business.
The role involves numerical responsibilities including stock reconciliations, purchase and invoice ledgers, bookkeeping, and stock retracing. The job holder is also responsible for the effective and accurate communication of logistics issues to stakeholders within the business.
Ideal candidates will have high levels of skill in numeric reasoning and attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to complete administrative tasks quickly and thoroughly without error. Clear and concise communication skills are essential, as the position will require thorough communication with suppliers, clients, and the company's senior management team.
Any working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be desirable. While direct knowledge of the food industry or a logistics background is not imperative, candidates must demonstrate the ability to make correct decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
This role is an initial 3 month fixed term contract.
