We are seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our domiciliary care services, overseeing care delivery across contracts with three local authorities. You will help ensure compliance with CQC regulations, manage staff, uphold service quality, and build strong relationships with commissioners and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager in the overall management of the service, ensuring the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of care. Maintain excellent working relationships with local authority commissioning teams, social workers, and other health professionals. Supervise, support, and develop a team of Care Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Care Workers. Ensure staff rotas are effectively managed to meet client needs and contract KPIs. Assist in the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of staff. Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and spot checks to maintain service quality. Monitor and manage care plans, risk assessments, and service delivery records. Respond promptly and effectively to safeguarding concerns, complaints, and incidents. Assist with audits, quality assurance processes, and preparing for CQC inspections. Support business growth by maintaining service quality and compliance across all three local authority contracts. Participate in on-call duties as part of a rota. Person Specification Essential: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within domiciliary care. Sound understanding of CQC regulations and the Care Act. Experience working with local authority contracts and commissioning frameworks. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and motivate a team. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to operational needs. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (minimum) or working towards Level 5 Leadership and Management in Care Services. Experience in mobilising or managing multiple contracts. Knowledge of rostering and ECM systems
