Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves working remotely to cover our sites across Ipswich and Suffolk.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and will be covering PPMs and reactive electrical duties across a large number of sites.
The Role
* Travel to commercial settings throughout the Ipswich and Suffolk area
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
* Carry out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated
* Carry out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
* Evaluate all tasks in accordance with agreed service levels
* Complete job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
* Maintain site based records and log books
* Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
* Work proactively to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommend improvements
* Comply with all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures
* Maintain excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and email
* Attend emergency call-out requests in accordance with the local on-call rota (1 in 6-7 weeks)
Hours of Work
* Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
* Overtime available

Career Progression Route
* From this role you could progress into a Supervisor position if desired
Qualifications and Experience Required
* City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
* Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer facing environment
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience
