Job Type: Full-time - Permanent My client, a leading provider of audio-visual equipment and solutions, is looking for a skilled and motivated Audio-Visual Engineer to ensure the high-quality delivery, installation, and customer satisfaction of their AV systems. This role is ideal for someone with a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong customer service skills. Day-to-day of the role: Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment, including projectors, interactive displays, video conferencing systems, and sound systems. Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide recommendations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing on-site and remote support as needed. Work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed and operating correctly. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and support, to ensure seamless project delivery. Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Adhere to health and safety regulations during installations and service work. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in AV installation, maintenance, and support. Strong knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, projection, and audio distribution. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. Experience working with brands such as Biamp, Yealink, AMX, Crestron, Cisco or similar is desirable. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving license. Desirable: CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification. Electrical or networking qualifications would be an advantage. Experience in programming control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX). Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
