We are looking for an experienced Neuro and spinal scrub practitioner (Registered Nurse or ODP) with a passion for neurosurgery spinal surgery, pain, and Interventional Neuro Radiology wanting to progress within our portfolio. We are looking for a confident and competent scrub practitioner with ambition and drive wanting to progress into a clinical leadership role.

As a Theatre sister/Senior ODP, you will be expected to set a good example and lead the team with enthusiasm and knowledge.
The portfolio provides an operating service to the following clinical areas:
1. Cranial Surgery
2. Endoscopic Cranial surgery
3. Neuro Spinal Surgery
4. Ortho Spinal Surgery
5. Complex spinal trauma surgery
6. Complex spinal deformity surgery
7. Interventional Neuroradiology
8. Chronic pain procedures
Main duties of the job
1. Leading the team
2. Pre-empting and organising upcoming lists
3. Taking a lead on training and improving staff competence and retention
4. Support new staff members and students working within our portfolio
5. Work together with the Neuro sisters to improve theatre efficiency, safety, patient experience, staff training, competence and promote a positive staff morale and culture of care.
