Corby UCC are looking for a forward thinking Children's Nurse who will work as a member of the MDT to provide care to the youngest of our patients within the post holders scope of practice, under the supervision of a designated shift lead. Main duties of the job The role encompasses the skills of assessment, clinical prioritisation and care navigation; as well as general nursing duties within an agreed scope of practice. The children's nurse is expected to be working within the National Curriculum and Competency Framework for Emergency Nursing levels 1 and 2 to safely care for children within Corby Urgent Care Centre. Working within their defined scope of practice, the nurse is expected to work and lead with the knowledge and skills required to safely care for children in a type 3 A&E stetting.
