We’re looking for a talented & experienced 2D FX Artist to join our team To be successful you must demonstrate thorough attention to detail, the ability to think outside the box, be super pro-active and have a brilliant work ethic alongside the ability to quickly integrate and communicate well within a small team. Please note: This role is due to start January 2025 and w e require the hired candidate to be based in the UK, outside of London (outside the M25). Day to Day: H and Animate custom FX for scenes in the style of the show Ma nage and maintain FX stock material in a library used by the FX team C reate particle systems in Toon Boom Harmony and integrate into the production L iaise with compositing team members to resolve issues C reating efficient solutions to technical challenges Q uality control of rendered shots M atch FX timing and movement to existing animation in a scene About You Must Have: E xcellent knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony St rong sense of animation timing P revious experience working on a 2D TV production G ood knowledge of 2D pipeline S trong knowledge of classical 2D animation principles G ood design and drawing skills in Toon Boom Harmony S elf-motivated Can take direction and are willing to address constructive feedback Able to communicate clearly with colleagues Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently H ave an appreciation of accuracy and pay close attention to detail B e able to deliver on schedule, working efficiently under pressure Bonus Points: Experience working with Compositing About Us We are Brighton Zoo The marriage of Plug-In Media & Blue Zoo - a brand new animation studio by the sea, designed for a new era of kid’s digital content.
