Myddelton College is a leading co-educational, day and boarding school with pupils aged 4-18. We are situated in the historic town of Denbigh in North Wales. The school has 37 acres of pitches, parkland and play areas and beautiful views across to the Clwydian hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Business Studies and/or Economics teacher with high standards and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will teach at both GCSE and A level (Edexcel). We are expanding our department due to the introduction in September of the International Foundation Year programme for some of our Year 13 students. The role involves teaching Business Studies and/or Economics across all age ranges, inspiring and engaging students in their learning journey. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the curriculum and resources, and support co-curricular activities, including competitions, seminars, trips, and visits. We currently hold an annual Year 10 Business Enterprise day. Additionally, they will mentor students applying to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.
Applicants should have a strong background in Business Studies or Economics, with at least two years of teaching experience preferred. We are looking for an energetic and inspiring classroom practitioner with an active interest in pedagogical development and best teaching practices.
Our Business Studies, Economics and Computer Science Department is staffed by dedicated and qualified specialists who work with motivated and ambitious students. As a Microsoft Showcase School our lessons are delivered with the assistance of Teams and OneNote.
