Currently recruiting for the University of Cambridge’s Finance Division for a Finance Manager, TRAC and Central Costs. You will play a key role in modernising academic and financial planning through the Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT) Project, part of the Finance Transformation Programme (FTP).
The Role
As part of the Financial Planning and Performance team, you will:
Develop and apply a new financial planning model across the University.
Lead the Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) return submission to the Office for Students.
Use TRAC insights to support the Finance Transformation Programme.
Manage the transition from legacy financial planning and budgeting processes.
Manage a team of 4 people
The role will help shape the future of the University and will give you exposure to presenting to senior leaders and the CFO.
Your Skills & Experience
Significant finance experience in Higher Education/Public Sector and commercial environments.
Skilled in leading finance teams, improving financial reporting, and communicating financial insights to diverse stakeholders.
Experience in Activity-Based Costing, financial modelling, and change management.
Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
