Main Responsibilities
Delivery Management
1. Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects that Solirius is engaged with.
2. Support and advise day-to-day activities of the team.
3. Facilitate key team events/ceremonies.
4. Monitor spend, report progress, and track team velocity.
5. Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
6. Clear hurdles for the team to ensure a clear path for development and delivery.
7. Ensure successful collaboration within the team and the wider project/programme.
8. Engage stakeholders with the delivery team.
9. Champion best practice methodologies across the team and each discipline.
10. Exemplify positive customer-focused behavior.
11. Act as the assignment manager for the Solirius team on the client site.
Account Management
1. Build and maintain relationships with clients and deliver value to them.
2. Financial management of client accounts.
3. Serve as the key point of contact for assigned clients.
4. Act as the client subject matter expert.
5. Develop actionable plans to balance clients' short/long-term goals.
6. Manage and report on the overall financial success of the accounts.
7. Resource for client accounts.
8. Identify new opportunities for Solirius and contribute to bidding for new work.
Specialist Skills Required
1. A background in Agile Delivery across the lifecycle of technical projects/service development.
2. Strong experience in Agile scrum methodologies and delivering software in Agile teams.
3. Previous experience and/or qualifications as a Scrum Master would be beneficial.
4. Experience of Delivery Management in the public sector, in accordance with GDS standards.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to engage with clients, managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
6. Experience of scaled agile methodologies, e.g., SAFe, LeSS, etc.
7. Experience in building relationships and ensuring value delivery to clients.
8. Agile coaching experience would be helpful.
9. Experience of supporting and developing people.
10. Self-awareness and high Emotional Intelligence.
11. Experience in maintaining and reporting on budgets.
Working with Clients
We are looking for experienced Delivery Consultants who have delivered agile projects. You will need to be a great leader, able to motivate and engage people to deliver excellence for our customers. Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders and delivering projects from inception to adoption is essential.
In addition to working as a Delivery Consultant, you will also be required to act as an Account Manager and/or Assignment Manager on client accounts.
Broader Team
You will be expected to work with the whole team, including developers, UX designers, senior managers, and stakeholders, to produce great digital products for our clients.
Delivery Team
You will help develop the delivery management practice, attracting other delivery experts to join our team and contributing to bids for new work. We aim to create digital services that our clients and their customers prefer to use over other channels.
