This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, well respected and friendly Internal Audit team. As well as learning about how Internal Audit works, you will have a unique chance to learn about the many aspects of how a modern council operates.
About the Role
Internal Audit is at the heart of supporting organisations to help mitigate their key risks, through timely assurance provided in innovative ways.
You will support the Senior Auditor review services to provide an opinion on the effectiveness of the control framework and risk mitigations in to areas to a range of stakeholders including senior management and councillors.
You will spend 20% of your working hours gaining skills and knowledge to work towards the Level 4 Internal Audit Practitioner Apprenticeship.
This is a hybrid role with some office working as required
